Every day, visitors start filling out your forms and checkouts, then leave before hitting submit. That’s revenue and leads slipping through the cracks. Leadsback captures that partial data automatically and sends it to your dashboard, so you can follow up and win those leads back.
Getting started takes just a few minutes. Here’s the full walkthrough.
Step 1: Choose your pricing plan
Head to our pricing page and pick the plan that fits your needs. Once you’ve completed checkout, you’re ready to download the plugin.
Step 2: Download the Leadsback Client plugin
Download the plugin file here, or grab it from the link in your confirmation email if you’ve already chosen your payment plan.
Save the .zip file somewhere you can easily find it, like your desktop or downloads folder. You’ll need it in the next step.
Step 3: Activate it on your WordPress website
Log in to your WordPress dashboard and go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin. Select the .zip file you just downloaded, click Install Now, and once it’s finished, click Activate.
That’s it, Leadsback is now installed on your site. Next, you’ll need to connect it to your account.
Step 4: Log in to your dashboard
Head to dashboard.leadsback.app and sign in using the credentials sent to your email when you signed up. If you can’t find the email, check your spam folder or reach out to support and we’ll help you get access.
Step 5: Connect your website
Inside your dashboard, go to the Websites section and create a new connection key. Copy that key, then head back to your WordPress dashboard and paste it into the Leadsback plugin settings page.
This connection key is what links your website to your dashboard, so make sure it’s entered correctly. If you manage multiple sites, each one will need its own key.
Step 6: You’re all set!
Once connected, Leadsback starts working immediately in the background. Any lost leads, whether it’s an abandoned form or an incomplete checkout, are automatically captured and sent straight to your dashboard in real time. No further setup needed.
Troubleshooting tips
- Plugin won’t upload: Make sure you’re uploading the .zip file directly, without unzipping it first.
- Can’t find your connection key: It’s located under Websites > [Your Site] > Connection Key in your dashboard.
- Not seeing data come through: Double check the connection key matches exactly between your dashboard and plugin settings, and confirm the plugin is activated.
